Brandon Rapp CIC, CPIA, CRM
Brandon, owner/CEO and a licensed Property & Casualty and Life & Health agent, is a lifetime resident of Medina County. A graduate of Buckeye High School, he attended Bowling Green State University where he graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing. Brandon joined Homestead Insurance in September of 2005 and continues his family tradition becoming a fourth generation insurance agent. Brandon, won the Brunswick Area Chamber of Commerce Annual 2014 Award for “Young Business Leader.”

Robert Rapp, CIC, CPIA
Rob, vice-president and a licensed Property & Casualty and Life & Health agent, is a lifetime resident of Medina County and a graduate of Medina High School (1968). He served in the U.S. Army (1968 – 1971) and is a Vietnam Veteran (1970). He is a graduate of Bowling Green State University (business / insurance major) and earned the coveted CIC (Certified Insurance Counselor) designation in 1993.

Mark Herwick, CPIA, LUTCF, LTCP, CLTC
Mark is president and an licensed agent in our Life & Health Division. A lifelong resident of Wadsworth, Ohio, Mark graduated from Wadsworth High School in 1989, and obtained his Bachelor’s Degree from the College of Santa Fe in Santa Fe, New Mexico in 1996.
Mark’s primary focus is Employer Sponsored and worksite benefits for major medical, dental, vision, life, disability, and long term care insurance. Other areas of focus are large group and supplemental life for public organizations: school consortiums, municipalities, townships, villages, and private employers with 50 or more employees.
He also markets life insurance, disability income and long term care to individuals, and is licensed to sell most Medicare Advantage and Supplement plans.
Mark is also a public speaker and contributing author.

Jim Thornburg – Retired
Jim Thornburg grew up in Lakewood, Ohio, graduated from Lakewood High School and attended the University of Miami in Florida. He and his wife, Jean, married in 1950, have been residents of Medina since 1958, have two children and four grandchildren all living in Medina County. Jim worked as a claims adjuster for 18 years of which 11 of those were for the Westfield Insurance Companies. Prior to joining Homestead in 1994, Jim had been an agent for 16 years in the Lorain County area.
