Homestead Insurance Agency and its owner, Robert Rapp, are part of a family insurance tradition dedicated to personal service. In 1934, Rob’s grandfather founded one of the first agencies in Medina County. The tradition of family ownership continued until the mid-1980’s, when the family sold its interest in its original agency. By that time, Rob was already operating the agency’s Brunswick office, which he subsequently purchased. That office became Homestead Insurance Agency, which continues to the present day in honoring the family’s commitment to customer service.

Now, as we look to the future, the next generation of agents dedicated to excellence in customer service is prepared to earn your trust. Continuing the family tradition, the most recent addition to the staff is Rob’s son, Brandon Rapp. Brandon is a 2006 Graduate of the Westfield Insurance TAPP program, and has earned his CPIA designation. 

 

Throughout its history, Homestead Insurance Agency and its owners have also demonstrated commitment to their community. The company’s owners and staff have served many local organizations in a variety of volunteer positions. Our dedication to our community is rivaled only by our dedication to our clients.  This is one of the reasons why Homestead Insurance Agency has been consistently voted the "Best of the Best" in Medina County.
